Only in New York, but if it’s successful look for California and Illinois to follow suit.

I musta missed that thread, so maybe this isn’t something new? It just popped up on my news feeds.
It’s not new, but it does add to the general picture, though this bit doesn’t come from Bambu, but from the local government, and points out another side of the problem.
Oh boy… when can we get regular background and cognitive checks for politicians? That makes much more sense than either of these

I’d go for full psychological check, next to criminal background, banking and social check to vetoing those who are in for themselves or mentally unfit for any public office.
