First layer adhesion issues after washing printbed

I am using Bambu Lab pink PLA Basic #10202 I just washed my printbed because I hadn’t used my 3d printer in about a week. I had been having issues with it not sticking in some spots for quite some time now, but not enough to mess up a print this badly. I am only touching the edges of the printbed, and I did use IPA before I started the print. Any pointers to why it keeps failing?

I’ve seen IPA cause these types of issues.

Dish soap (ideally Dawn) with a scrub brush and rinse with hot water is the best way I’ve found to clean PEI plates for Bambu printers.

So no IPA, just dawn dish soap?

Dish soap, paper towel. Profit.

Doesn’t have to be Dawn, but it does have to be a detergent without a lot of additives. Dawn is a reliable go-to.

I also have had good experience with some of the “eco” brands which keep the formula simple. Seventh Generation, here in the US, makes a dish detergent that works well for the PEI plate. I find the effectiveness of their products hit-or-miss, but this one is very effective and reliable.

hth!
