Has anyone else experienced this rippling texture using the A1? I’m familiar with it as a bed cleaning issue, but I experience it universally on my machine despite obsessive cleaning…
-Affects entire surface of build plate.
-Every build plate, every texture, both sides, brand new plates as well. Every print.
-Every filament I have used (which is a wide variety of PETGs and a few PLA variations).
I’m having the same problem. Tried tramming the bed, recalibrated, replaced hotend heating assembly, tightened any loose screws, various new hotends, 3 different build plates, reduced filament flow ratio by various degrees between tests and reduced speed of 1st layer which seemed to improve things slightly. Not good enough though. Anyone out there with any other tips or ideas please?
Check that your nozzley boy is strapped in properly and do a full calibration from the maintainence menu
Its what fixed mine.

Thanks for this, mine was indeed incorrectly fastened - I must need new glasses! Now set correctly and locked in place so doing the calibration now. Will see if this improves the 1st layer, fingers crossed and thanks again!
Yeah I had the exact same issue and probably could use a new pair of glasses myself. Good luck!
