Printer: X1 Carbon
Tip: .2mm
Filament: PLA Basic (all filament & Studio settings @ Default)
All of a sudden I can’t complete the first layer without developing a cold plug in the extruder where the filament entered the tip. I’m printing 32 1”x 1” tiles that are 1.3 mm thick. All the tiles are printed sequentially one layer at a time and each tile has 13 .1mm layers.
The print starts fine but after 12 or 13 of the first layers print a clog develops in the extruder and no more filament is extruded. The X1 just keeps printing air on the plate. I’ve printed hundreds of these things at home. But I’ve moved the printer from Tennessee down to Georgia for the Hollidays and I’ve not been able to print one set of these tiles since I’ve set the printer up again. I’m including a picture that reviles what is happening.
