I have 5 P1s printers. Several of them (the oldest ones) started giving me bad prints, particularly on the surface. I had bubbles, gaps, and wavy surfaces. I did a very deep clean on the carbon rods (soaked with IPA and cleaned multiple times). While servicing, I noticed that I had grease on the stainless steel rods (Y axis), probably from me greasing the screw rods. I cleaned them several times with IPA and applied a thin coating of oil to them. I did this several times as well. Looks like it fixed my problems! My prints are back to the way they were, no bubbles, wavy surfaces, or gaps in the surface of the prints. Thought Iād pass this along in case others have similar problems. Your results may vary.
