I was printing the X1 Carbon tool and parts box found on printables and am getting some weird artifacts on the top. Filament is at 10% moisture and has been print other items perfectly, not sure about large flat surfaces like this.
Is it over extrusion?
What type of infill pattern did you use? It looks a bit like grid - and due to crossing sections it may can happen that on those crossing section a bit of surface material gets dragged.
Might try a non-crossing pattern (honeycomb / gyroid) and see if it persists.
You are absolutely correct. I thought it would use something else by default but it is grid. I was just watching a video about this a day or so ago.
