Do I need to do anything special to print flexable or soft PLA. I have heard you need to slow it down and heat the bed a little more. Can I use it in my AMS?
I bought a spool of flexible PLA and it immediately clogged my 0.4 nozzle.
Cleared the clog and tried again with the same results. : (
I haven’t tried using it again.
I’ve never been able to print TPU with the 0.4 without it clogging.
I switch to 0.6 for TPU and get great results. I suspect the flexible PLA is the same.
Thanks Thats kinda what I thought. Dont really want to clog the machine.
feed flex-pla externally and not through the ams if you want to be sure. then it should not clog. i have printed TPU with a shore hardness of 82a without it clogging, but i cannot use it in the ams (the filament is flexible like a paket string). harder TPU than this is less problematic.
