Floating regions after slicing (smaller details/towers)

Hi there, I am trying to slice this model of Hogwarts Castle for a book nook, but I get floating regions (partly empty layers) for some of the small towers and details. I can’t really seem to find someone mentioning that problem or rather the solution in the comments there, so I was wondering if anyone her might know what settings I might need to change. I did use the given file and profile, but slicing always gives me the same error. I also tried changing from classic wall generation to arachne, which still produced the floating regions. I am using a 0.4 nozzle btw, but that shouldn’t really be a problem, as it doesn’t seem anyone is mentioning using a smaller nozzle for this.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice, this is the last thing missing in my print, so I’d be happy to finish this project with your help ^^

The reason for the 0.2mm nozzle is likely because of those details that are missing.

You can do two things.

  1. Reduce the layer height using your 0.4mm nozzle, maybe 0.12mm or 0.08mm.
  2. Change the wall generator setting to Arachne, in the properties list found in the far left. I expect it is already enabled though.

What do you mean by

The reason for the 0.2mm nozzle

I haven’t seen anyone say they used 0.2 for this print in the comments and I have stated that I use a 0.4 nozzle, so I’m a bit confused about that statement.

I tried reducing the layer height, but that still produced floating regions like these for example:

and yeah, I tried Arachne and Classic as wall generators, both were producing floating regions tho.

You are correct, my ridiculously poor eyesight means I misread the description.

I will slice the model myself in a bit when I have sufficient strength to walk and see the issue myself.

Thank you for your help ^^
