Hey guys, this might be a stupid question, but I just updated Bambu Studio to the current version (1.7.7.89) from the 1.6.2 (i think) version i was using and noticed the Flow Calibration box under the Print menu is gone. I used checkmark it when i’d change filament / bed surfaces…do I no longer have to do that or whats the deal?
Anyone? Can I now just drop in another filament type/brand and send it?
Can you paste a screenshot of what your seeing NOW instead, you can literally copy\paste here and the forums figure it out, you dont have to save a file - attach a file… just reply, screenshot, crop to the specific area \ hid personal stuff - and then Recopy thata (from paint or whatever) and then PASTE here.
After you click Print Plate and the pop up comes up to send it, there used to be Flow Calibration (I edited it in, in the red obviously) but after going to the new version of Bambu Lab it is no longer there anymore. When i change filament or brands I use to check that.
@qwiktune Did you change pritner from X1C to P1P or visa Versa? Or other big changes?
I am running the BETA Bambu Studio from git hub, my version is very different as is my Printer -with automatic flow dynamic calibration etc
So I am tryinng to see if something changed previously \ version \ settings etc.
1.7 introduced a lot of Flow changes, maybe that was it … still reearching as you have me curious now.

I have the P1P not X1C, theres a new Calibration Tab up along the top (next to Project) I believe is new, but im not sure why that Flow Calibration has disappeared for me. Even more odd is that when I installed Bambu Studio 1.6.2 it remains gone (but no calibration tab up top). I didnt delete 1.7.7.89 so perhaps once I updated I’d have to delete the newer version completely to get it back). Problem is with Version 1.6.2 I couldnt open anything directly from Makerworld so I had to update it to get that functionality. I’m surprised no ones talking about this. Curious why its still there for X1C though like you have it.
Yup ok, I found an old image in github archieves pre v1.7 , like 1.,6xxx - showing flow like you said
Yep, thats how it used to look for me
So I downloaded the ZIP not the EXE, extracted the ZIP to a differennt folder and just ran the Bambu Exe file to load 1.6.2
1.62 release here if your interessted (and others)
I had to innstall the netowkr plugin and make sure I could see prinnter (in that old version) - but then I was able to see the Flow Calibration setting
So it was removed\moved after v1.7 by doignn the same thing and testing all the versions moving forward after 1.6 - I just dont know if its possible to restore it - or you now do manual calibrations in the other screen instead (as a P1P user, without Lidar for auto calibration)
Still looking.\thinking
V 1.72… mine changed names to Flow Dynamic Calibrations - using the lidar, so this where it may have stopped workinng for people without lidar and was removed.
This , readinng through, explains why they they dont recommend doing it every print etc too annd the changes they made.
