Is the Lidar flow calibration on my X1C working? All the Youtube videos showing the preprint calibration pattern is different from what I am getting. Attached is a photo showing what I have gotten on every print other than the very first one (which was the same pattern as everyone else seems to get). Any suggestions to get the standard calibration pattern would be appreciated. I am not sure what I am doing wrong as I did get it one time.
@cfrancisco1266 has made a very good point and observation (thanks for chiming in Fransisco)
Youâll get it and your frustrations are understandable, Iâm a spaz and would be furious if it were me
Youâll get it, we just need to find why the calibration sequence is not launching, its not that itâs not working but rather that it isnât even trying
The 3d printing Gods are messing with you
Weâre far from out of ideas here but letâs first make sure everything is checked off before sending the print as Fransisco has pointed out
What shows up on my print is exactly what shows in the preview. I only get the âLâ shaped line at the edge of the plate and not the calibration lines closer to the plate center. It seems something is hosed up in a configuration file or setting and so far, I havenât been able to find where it is located or even see how I can fix it. It seems a number of things on this printer and software are hidden from view.

This doesnât count completly Even a new installation triggers normally getting the settings from the cloud once you log into your account.
Only to be precise and sure - you used the stock presets from the slicer (meaning those that were intially provided by Bambu) and checked all checkmarks when sending to the printer?
If possible, could you post the project as a 3mf and the sliced gcode to check for one of your examples?
I used all the stock presets for the slicer and all boxes are checked. The only thing I have done is add some MatterHackers and 3D XTech filaments to the list but this problem existed before I added them. I tried to upload the 3mf file and the gcode but these formats are not able to be uploaded. At this point, I am thinking a support ticket is in order.

You might try either a fresh SD card or deleting everything on the card that you are using
Those time lapse videos take up a lot of space and when you run out of space it needs to make room somewhere so if the SD memory is getting full the printer might automatically be omitting the calibration sequence
I have a print in progress so will check later. I doubt this is the problem as I didnât even have an SD card inserted when the problem first appeared. Later I inserted and formatted an empty SD card and still had the problem.
After my current print finishes I will try to replicate your issue going by everything youâve described in your settings
As difficult an issue to resolve that it is Iâm sure the solution will have us quoting Homer Simpson with a âDohâ and a face palm Lđ¤Śââď¸L
After my print was done, I did a bit of hunting and found the problem. In the Printer selection of Bambu Studio, I had selected ALL Bambu Lab printers. I deselected all but the X1 Carbon and low and behold, the proper pattern shows up in the preview. Thanks for all your help. Hopefully posting this will provide a guide in case anyone else experiences this issue. For the record, it was self inflicted and it was a simple fix. I have no idea how those who have both the X1 and P1P would handle this.
