Flow Control On Textured Plates

Got some older dual sided textured plates (black). They work great. I was reading somewhere that the latest firmware (don’t know what version) now supports flow control on these plates. In the past they said that the Lidar would mess with it. Thought are welcome as Should I use flow control or not?

Bambu says it works but it is still not fully reliable. It is still best to use another plate.

I’ve compared lidar results with doing a flow calibration in orca slicer, and the lidar measurement never seems to be as accurate. So, in my case, I no longer bother with it. It also has the virtue of not wasting time on it at the start of the print, because once you know the number, you don’t need to keep rediscovering it at the start of every print.
