Since I always use the textured (pei) plate (original black and gold), I would like to better understand the topic of flow calibration (1.07.01 installed).
Bambu Studio Flow Dynamics Calibration:
- I manually calibrated the k value for my PLA using the new flow dynamics calibration function
- It came out 0.020 and I have to re-deposit the profile with the filament every time the device is rebooted
1.) This value determines the behavior during fast and slow movements and improves the uniform thickness. Is that correct?
2.) I couldn’t set a print temperature on this calibration. wouldn’t that also be important to improve later deviations?
X1C Flow Calibration with Lidar (Checkbox on every print):
- 4 lines are printed and then the result is checked and then the 5th line is printed. This 5th line would have to be perfectly continuous and of the same thickness
3.) what kind of value is that? Flow Dynamic or Flow Rate? So what am I overriding here, the flow rate I gave in the slicer or my k value?
4.) Is this calibration only for this print or is a value stored in the printer or AMS slot for a longer period of time?
5.) So does this needs to be disabled, when i already manually calibrated both? or is there another advantage?
6.) Is there a photo of a perfect result? (I ask because the lines always looked different when I tried it - same role of filament)
Thanks in advance
