Hi. I would like to ask if I understand correctly the regulations of the Flying Objects competition.
In my opinion, the designs submitted to the competition should be able to fly somehow, but most of the models submitted, do not have this ability.
If this understanding is correct. Then now we have a big mess in competition page where most of entries shouldn’t be there because they don’t fly. Maybe it should be better explained in competition regulation, or moderate somehow submitted projects.
Or maybe I’m wrong and you can upload everything that is to some extent related to flying and it doesn’t need to fly actually?
They will probably separate the wheat from the chaff in judging. Same concept applies to the Make My Sign contest where they wanted more than just a sign.

At first, it does seem like it must fly, but the phrase “embody the spirit of flight” makes it seem a lot more like it can be model of anything that can fly. That’s how I interpreted it, but I can agree it’s not clear cut on what it should be
