Hi,
Is anyone already using the FNATR system for P2S? We ordered it because it looks like it could solve the problem with active extraction from the chamber. If anyone has it, could you share your experiences?

I ordered one also on the 11th, still waiting on it to arrive.
Just received and hooked it up. Will do a non scientific test when i get a chance
. I dont know what type of detector i would need to do a better test.
Great, I’m still waiting for it. Hopefully it will arrive soon.
looking forward to both your scientific and unscientific results!
Any scientific here ? or it’s a joke? (i want to know if this works good for print with ABS in my office)
Just been doing pla and i haven’t noticed any sinus irritation so im guessing its doing its job.
Need to find an actual detector and see whats going on.
Then try again with ABS and let us know… very few real world results on this unit besides the youtube smoke ad from the manufacturer
Probably wait till i can have my windows open before i test that. As a just in case.
I finally received mine today as well. But I have to say it’s not what I expected. When printing ABS, there is still a noticeable smell, so it’s not suitable for printing in the office where I have the printer installed. It also significantly reduces the chamber temperature. However, I have it connected differently than the manufacturer recommends, which might be causing the issue. I’ll try printing with the manufacturer’s recommended setup and test it again.
Thanks for the feedback.. hopefully after you re-arrange it, it will work.
Looks like abs isnt in my near future of printing. the p2s probably has too many small crevices for the voc to leak out.
Im gonna add that same exhaust port and make a splitter to have both go through vent or ill find a way to vent it right out a window
The only other way is to get a cover with a single vent hole and send it out a window for best results, but this also takes up even more space
Edit: i just purchased the ventobox from voxel to assist the fnatr. Its gonna be to much of a pain to stretch a hose to any nearby windows ![]()
