Found a new filament runout issue on P1P

I got tired of listening to the fan run on high for 15 minutes after a print finished so I reduced the setting.

I had a print running, and the filament ran out. Bambu studio was running in the background so that I could check on the print periodically. It really should use notifications to tell the user about events such as print complete, filament run out, etc.

I finished what I was doing and when in to get the print, because I assumed it would be done. I was surprised to see it half printed and the print head parked and the printer silent. After a bit I realized the the filament had run out. There was no prompt to load filament, there was no way to resume.

I assume that the idle timeout which turned of the fans, etc. also just cancelled the print in progress. I don’t understand why. If a printer can recover from a power loss, it should be able to recover from going to sleep while waiting for filament to be replaced.

Can you imagine printing a multi-day print and running out of filament in the middle of the night and wasting 14 hours of print time and filament?

Could someone comment about this method using the X1? Is it the same or if different how does it work?

Please ignore this. I think it might have been something I did.
