Found out why I've probably been having X1C teething issues

My printer hasn’t been right since I bought it, very inconsistent in its output, and ironing has been subpar. I’ve posted a few times in here with questions and I’ve tried a ton of different settings a lot of which had little impact on the quality.

So tonight I decided to take the hotend out and give it a once over…

Cool, I see you have that new 4D toolhead?

You had the printhead hit a print or did it arrive in that state? Well, good thing they deliver the printer with a second hotend.

At least it is no surprise that things didn’t work perfectly, the bend is only slight, but enough for sub par surfaces.

No collisions, no. It must have been faulty from factory. I’m just trying to find the thermal grease sachet and I’ll get the spare hotend fitted and give it a whirl. Surprisingly easy to do actually, beats taking the whole extruder apart! I think I’m going to buy a complete 0.2mm hotend so I can easily swap out when doing finer prints.

EDIT: the thermal grease sachet was right in front of me
