I realize that a funnel generator will be the last thing on anyone’s mind. But I made one up and here it is. You will need to have Fusion on your machine. Every now and then I’ll need a funnel and none of the wife’s assortment quite meets my needs. I like one that doesn’t wobble around when I pouring through it.
In Fusion, click MODIFY, then Change Parameters, then modify values to suit your needs.

I am frustrated that Makerworld won’t allow Fusion files to be uploaded. Is this for security?

Makerworld has added support for parametric Fusion models.

Actually, I’m probably wrong. I’ll check into it. I think maybe a Fusion file can be uploaded as part of a .3mf file, not sure.

One of my Fusion 360 models only has the personalizing of the name for embossing to customize the print. The dimensions are fixed. The “Name” is the last sketch that the final user can edit their desired name like “Sarah” or whatever…
But that is not really a parameter.

I’m pretty lazy and so the way I solve this is by creating my model without the text. Bring it into Bambu Studio and add my text shape and embossing as I want it and save the 3mf for later use. When I need to print the model with different text, I just hop in, modify the text, and print.
I haven’t used the Parametric mode maker in Makerworld yet, so I can’t say for sure, but you may be able to do just that. Text can be a parameter in Fusion 360, which may be accessible for editing in the model maker?

You can literally upload them as raw files in addition to the 3MF, i have a model that includes a .f3d no problems

If you meant you can’t upload them as part of a model, you add them to the other files section during upload or editing.

With regard to the value of funnels, I must say, I didn’t realize until after I started 3d printers, especially with BBL printers, how useful custom funnels are. I’ve just always tolerated a less than optimal funnels because that’s what we had. Now I can whip out a custom funnel in no time that exactly fits the receiving container’s neck for maximum flow. It’s really changed my life. I intend to submit my generator to the IFO (International Funnel Organization), an organization that will appreciate it to its fullest.
