Dear Community,
i keep receiving the error message: “Front-Cover fell off” on my P1S, which is almost new. This issue started after I replaced the printer’s cooling duct. (and after getting the error Messages i switched back) Since then, the error appears during nearly every print — especially when the printer attempts to change the filament using my AMS 2 Pro.
All cables are securely connected, and the front-cover magnets align properly. When I press Resume, the print usually continues without any problems. However, the constant interruption is very frustrating.
And today it was not resuming and i thought i need some help.

I would appreciate your guys help in resolving this issue.
Thank you guys in advance!
Second, this may be the result of a well-documented bug. There have been varying reports on this, and you’ll likely find Bambu Lab’s tech support completely useless – or at least, after spending $100 on replacement parts with no resolution, I certainly found them inept.
Here’s an entire thread on this topic with some possible workarounds.
First thing is do you have any aftermarket electronic components attached to the printer. To include anything plugged into the USB-A socket? Do you have a Panda Touch or Panda Lux connected to the printer. These are known problems.
Try unplugging the aftermarket light if it is plugged into the printers USB A port. I had the same issue when trying power a thermometer from this port.
Unfortunately, my cable also came loose and apparently damaged the controller. A new fan didn’t solve the problem. Where should I look to see which component or board might be damaged?
How did you determine which cable. The cable itself may determine which board is damage with the most likely candidate being the boards at each end of cable.
One or the other or maybe both.
Could you please explain in details how i need to check which board could be affected.
I have a multimeter measuring tool but where do i pick up the right pin
Start a new post. You jumped into a post that was already in progress so no one knows what you did and why you did it.
Do not waste time trying to test different pins because unless you know what values should be at the pin, it doesn’t tell you anything. Bambu Lab printers are closed source and they (as far as I know) don’t put information out like that because it tells competitors how the machine works.
One top of that, the boards are cheap. Just buy the two boards that the cable connects to.
