Furry Angel Hair in Print

Anyone ever see this in their prints and what they did if anything to solve it?

I have been printing these things for months now on a .4 hardened steel nozzle on both my X1C and X1E without issue.

I have since put a brand new .6 nozzle in my X1E and after printing the first set of 2 without issue, it started showing the fuzz, fur, or angel hair if you will.

It is relatively easy to remove by scraping or using 320 grit sand paper, but since this is a production part, I want to eliminate any post process.

I am using PETG HF from Bambu Lab, as I always have. Even receved a new batch of filament and same issue.

I am using Bambu Studio’s presets for that filament, printer and nozzle.

My humidity has stayed constant at about 10-11% as usual and I always dry my filament as recommended, 65c for a minimum of 8hrs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I get this too on tuned pla+ as well.

Not all pla+ but some. Sunluulululul brand actually gives it to me the most recently.

CHECK YOUR SMALL PART COOLING FAN

I had this cotton candy starting to get built up in the fan when i did my maint. yesterday. I was printing silk and it was rainbow color so I know it was happening for a while sucking little strands in. Needed tweezers to pull it all out ugh.

I don’t know what is causing the wisps. I’m going to try and figure it out as well as it’s really weird and not all the time. My guess is the temperature is too hot for a section of the filament in the spool and it goes blobby juuuuuuust enough to cotton candy wisp it. irritating but my best guess for now.

I hope others can chime if if they experienced this as well.
