Fuzzy skin - Bambu Studio is so bad

I recently switch from Orca slicer to Bambu Studio and the experience is very bad. I only used Bambu studio when uploading the files to MW.
I was asked by someone to make a modified version of one of my models and since I’ve accidentally upgraded to 1.8 firmware I am unable to print it directly from Orca. So I decided to prepare it in Bambu Studio.
And it is a disaster.
I’ve placed the model,
and then added the modifier to add fuzzy skin on some of the surfaces.
If you try to load modifier Bambu studio won’t let you use STEP even that it list it in acceptable file formats.
OK, no problem I can save it as STL.
STL loads but is placed randomly on the plate as Bambu studio does not align the coordinates properly. Again, not a big problem, just annoyance. I moved it manually best I could.
Then I sliced the file.
And the result is abhorrent,
Fuzzy skin applied randomly to small sections of the model. (not to mention that there are no additional options at all to customize the look of it)
I was fighting it for about 30 minutes and gave up.
Decided to open the file in Orca Slicer, sliced it and the result is perfectly applied fuzzy skin as I expected.
See for yourself. Side by side screenshot
