G Code for bed leveling temp

Short version: how do I change the gcode to lower the nozzle temperature to 140° during bed leveling?

Long version: The only g code modifying i have done is adding the pause code to filament to allow changing colors mid layer, so you might say I’m a professional…oh no…I mean a novice that has almost no idea what they are doing and will absolutely screw something up.

I bought a wham bam carbon fiber plate, it’s recommended that the nozzle temp be no higher than 140°c during bed leveling, or it can damage the plate. I was smart enough to check on the A1 what the temperature it levels the bed at. It was doing it at 220°c, that’s not ideal.

Can someone please explain it like I’m 5 on how to change the gcode to lower the nozzle temp during bed leveling? Will this have any impact on the bed leveling results? Does Bambu heat up the nozzle to printing temps so early just so there is less down time while the nozzle heats up?

Yes, I’m clearly in over my head, but how else do you learn unless you try?

Bed levelling is done at 140 degrees by default, there is something wrong with your printer, make sure you’re on the latest version, with unmodified gcode.

220 degrees bed levelling would result in an inaccurate bed mesh due to constant flowing filament from the nozzle.

I mean there’s plenty wrong with my printer, like anytime it tries to feed from spool 4 after a color change it fails so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Everything is up to date, and the gcode (other than setting a pause after the 4th color on a layer so I can manually change spools for prints with my than 4 colors) hasn’t been touched.
