Gaps in top layer

No matter what infill type I use for the top layer I keep getting gaps in the print. I have also tried using Arachne but to no avail. Also tried changing extrusion width on the top layer.

Can someone suggest a slicer setting that would allow me to fill these gaps on the top layer?

Most likely it looks the same if you inspect last layer in the slicer already. If yes, may (as it doesn’t look like a big print) you can try enable ironing. Could be that those small gaps gets closed with that. But it should be seen in the slicer already as well than.

Yes, Ironing + “Only one wall on top surface” checked
or maybe : Quality=>Wall generator=>Archne

+1 on enabling Archne in the wall generator

Classic puts out ugly top layers on my flat prints and ironing (for me at least) doesn’t work in classic wall generator for some reason

Pretty sure I need to adjust the ironing settings from the defaults then it will work as intended

Also try 100% infill which will prompt you to change the infill pattern to rectilinear (that’s a good thing )

And for PLA my line width is .45

Sadly, there is no option to set the top layer flow for now, would be nice to get this option…
But it makes no sense to ask for all this functions, if needed take super / prusa slicer and you are good to go

I used SuperSlicer for years now (wich is basically prusaslicer) and still use it with my other printers, but for bambulab I only use BambuStudio but it is based on Superslicer so… :slight_smile: To get more SuperSlicer/PrusaSlicer features there is Softfeaver that basically unhide a lot of functionalities that BambuStudio hide.

What I mean is that Bambustudio have all functionalities of Prusaslicer, they are just hidden.
