A bit of a strange one. I’ve been seeing that a lot of times the part of the print that comes immediately after where a support touches to the piece has these gaps in it for some reason. The rest of the print is fine, but I can’t figure out why supports are causing these imperfections. Also it’s only on one side I’m guessing the side that starts immediately after the support interface as the back side of this example also looks fine.
For this example I was using:
0.2 mm nozzle
the 0.06mm High Quality preset
3 interface layers
0.06 Z Top Distance
0 Top Interface Spacing
Seems to happen with either Classic or Arachne walls
Somewhat, it looks like it comes from the overhang rather than the supports and because the overhang prints slowly then the printer tries to speed back up too fast and the flow can’t keep up. You should be able to mitigate it a lot more if you set overhangs to have the same speed as the rest of your walls.
