I’ve tried 4 prints on this printer, two with the included sample filaments and 2 with another PLA. All have under extrusion issues anywhere the printer changes direction. The support filament is not attached to the outer walls and there are holed along the edges. The straight walls look great. I’ve already swapped the hotend and run the dynamic calibration for the filament. Any advice? Printer is a P1S with the multi material box.
Is this the sliced benchy gcode that is included on the printer? How hot is the nozzle showing? Is the part cooling fan working? Have you tried a factory reset yet? That often fixes odd problems.
NEVER expect default filament or print setting to produce great results
At least confirm the flow ratio and k-factor defaults actually produce the expected result.
The included g-code benchy only works properly AFTER all filament related parameters are tuned in properly, in this even the max flow rate has to be able to keep up with the g-code.
Slice the one that is the included models you can add with a right click on the build plate.
Once you have the matching flow ration, k-factor and hotend temp the benchy should come looking good using the default 0.2mm profile.
After a factory reset and full calibration again (including filament), I’ve got a flawless print out of the machine for the first time. Thanks guys. Will keep experimenting.
