Hello,
my P1P prints fine - if it prints. It was shipped with a broken part cooling fan; the cables were faulty! Support has sent me a new fan asap - so the machine didn’t work for 3 weeks! Now i was printing a few days and my filament cut sensor threw an error message on the screen: Filament cut is stuck (HMS_0700_4500_0002_0003: The filament cutter handle has not released. The handle or blade ay be stuck. | Bambu Lab Wiki). So I looked into the Wiki which shows the X1 models, but it was clear that the cutter was not stuck and the nozzle is totally not clogged. So I took a look at the cable and plug and the cable was damaged at the edge of a 90° turn and a tape corner… So whoever build my machine or had it in his hands, he damaged or at least overseen 2 damaged cables! Poor quality control!
So I contacted support. Weekend, no answer yet. Soldering this cable is impossible and you can’t buy it. If I want to print, machine tells me the error message, I can click resume/retry but it’s in a loop then, it wants to purge filament and then toolhead moves with the error… It can easily print because nothing is damaged except the filament cut sensor is “offline”… Is there at least a GCODE modification so the machine won’t purge and check the sensor before print?
So I could print… I mean, if they tell me again to wait 3 weeks it won’t be acceptable. They can then send me just a new machine then and collect their old one. I didn’t buy it to have a brick on my table…
I have the same issue, but it was me who accidentally ripped the ribbon when removing filament tube, as my finger slipped and ripped it, as it’s so delicate, unprotected and poorly placed! I have sent a complaint to them as in my eyes, as a product design graduate, a poor design!
Mine just stopped working between prints and I followed the Wiki for troubleshooting. And looking at that cable I fully agree, it’s poor design. They should stick to real cables with standard connectors which are shown in the Wiki, like for the X1C I think.
So you can’t print and does support anything? Support answers my other tickets, but not answering this since Saturday. If they don’t fix I just get my money back from credit card and they can collect the bricked printer. I even don’t want any fees for storage at my place as a sign of good will.
Now after some time service responded, they will send a new cable. Needed 5 days to respond to this ticket although they were on my other tickets active… I really don’t like the support, it’s slow and they always ask for the address although I always provided it in the tickets… But no, they ask for address and then everything slows down for another 1-2 days… And no shipping information… last time they’ve send me the fan ASAP and it was more than 3 weeks… I just told them that I’m gonna talk to my bank and refund if there’s no working device within a deadline and that they can’t ignore our laws…
Well, I have the same issue. This sucks. Any chance anyone here has a spare cable they can lend for a bit of time? (or sell)?
I’d be grateful. My ribbon tore when I was troubleshooting the Filament Cutter Stuck issue.
