Hey guys, I recently purchased a new X2D and decided to try and tune the retract setting on the auxillary nozzle for PETG for using as supports. the last couple of prints where I needed PETG as the interface layer, all of the small areas didn’t print well. noticed that in tiny areas the right nozzle would hardly extrude any filament and in some areas would leave strings. Being it’s a boden setup and recalling all my Ender 3 experience, it seemed like a flow and retraction issue not tuned well.
I loaded up the retraction calibration and printed on the right nozzle in PETG. After the print was finished I went to measure and check where the ideal retraction length was and discovered that in the “Preview” tab of Bambu Studio when trying to see the retraction length at a layer the gcode on the screen is cut off right where the length is shown.
Is there any way to widen the view of the gcode to see the info? Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing….
I’m also running the latest public beta of Bambu Studio, but this also seems to show the same for the stable public release as well.
