Getting a message to model makers

How does one ask questions of a model creator?

I am working with one that has Russian names of objects. My Russian is weak consisting of Beer and Bathroom only.

Another says it uses a motor with no BOM showing a motor and no description.

Many do not have assembly instructions.

When I can get a build together I do not rate it 5 stars, regardless of how well intentioned or clever it is. That got me blocked by one maker since he did not want bad comments, just 5 stars.

BTW What are “Boosts”

Leave a comment on their model page asking for the missing information. Makerworld translates most comments to the users language. If they have time and desire they may fulfill the request by updating their model page.

Boosts are presented to users who are active on the site every Monday. You may get 1 or 2 boosts to GIVE to models you like. They expire within a month so please go boost designs as it is one of the main ways to say thank you, and it costs you nothing.

Is there domestic purpose other than “Ataboy” or status or something.

The designer gets points from the boost which they can use to redeem for filament, parts, cash. This site would not be what it is without rewarding the designers. A boost is an opportunity for you to direct that reward to designs you enjoy at no cost to you.
