Getting an AMS 2 repaired?

Hi all, does anyone know if a defective AMS 2 can be sent to Bambu for repair? I live in UK. I can’t work out what the problem is and I’ve already stripped the machine down twice. Any help gratefully received. FYI all feeder units are clicking, filament loads correctly. I had to replace the assist motor so that is not the issue. All broken pieces have been cleared from the internal hub unit.

Support will need to make that determination. Have you had a ticket going for this issue already?

Nope, I’ll do that. Thanks for replying.

OK, there seems to be no way of submitting a ticket for an AMS. The drop down menu at the ticket stage does not show the AMS as an option. Anyone any ideas? It must be possible to do it…

just submit a printer ticket and put in all the details for the AMS - I had to go through this recently – to find out it was a me problem - not an ams problem.. what is yours doing?

There are only about 5 total parts for the ams:
Rollers, Board, AMS Buffer, AMS Buffer Motor, and then external buffer (outside of the pte tubes)

all those parts are no more than $50ish eac shipped (I had to replace the ams buffer, the ams motor, and a few rollers recently) - and its working great now.. the board I scavanged from another bad unit..

Replaced assist motor, the Ams 2 now loads filament but all four feeder units double click every few seconds…I’m guessing I may have to replace the internal hub next for a cool £50…

If it’s under warranty, it won’t cost you anything…
