Getting these lines on the final layer

Hello everyone, I’m Getting a line on the final layer, how do I get rid of it. I want to send a picture but it’s says it’s to big, can someone please tell me how I can send the picture. Thanks Tim

@misterx426 I had a problem with this once and if there is any extra space that is not relevant to the problem just crop it out and see if you can post it

Here’s a link that could help to get your photo scaled down, assuming you’re not trying to post directly from a phone or tablet: How to resize an image on Mac, Windows, and a Chromebook

Some phones with cameras (not Apple ones) also have an option to “Share” and then an option to select the destination format, like “Message” or “Email” or “Full Size”. In such cases, you might “share” the image to your-self in the “message” size then use the one you “receive” for the forum.

As for the problem itself, the most common type of line on a top layer is one or two extrusion widths wide and runs diagonally from edge to edge. If you’re seeing this, then the most common cause is that the printer is extruding a little too much plastic, causing the plastic in that last line or to to get “bunched up” in a space more narrow than ideal. Running a filament flow dynamics calibration would hopefully fix this particular issue.

If you are printing with manually changed settings or using a print profile other than stock standard Bambu then might also check that Top surface pattern (see Quality tab) is set to, “Monotonic” or preferably, “Monotonic line”.

They’re not perfect but these two surfacing strategies are designed to avoid such lines as best as possible, compared to older methods such at plain rectilinear.

Beyond that, we will need the photo. Thanks.

Boa tarde,

sem a foto realmente fica dificil de saber qual é o problema, mas se for uma linha na superficie do objeto pode ser a linha de costura, se for este o caso então seria somente alterar para outra configuração que nao seja o modo “Linha”.

Thanks gruvin, I resized it and here it is. Can someone help me with what’s going on Thanks Tim

What you are seeing here is the Seam. It is tough to hide it on the cylindrical objects that aren’t printed in vase mode. You can try selecting the Seam as “Random” but I find that leaves dots all over the part.

The new way of trying to elevate the seam is “Scarf Joint”. Here is a good video explaining it.

@JonRaymond I thought he was talking about the lines here

Also very possible. The amount of information provided leaves a lot for interpretation.

To me, those waves look like the part warped up.

It’s that big line or seam I’m talking about , that’s on the bottom of a coaster I made. I’ve been making different coasters and they don’t have them. I think it would make a cup of coffee or whatever wobble.

Thanks JonRaymond I watched the video and I’m going to check what the other coaster have for seam lines.

If thats the bottom layer, it could be because of the first layer pattern selected. Try one that uses straight lines and there wont be a bottom seam
