@MakerWorld How do we get verified? You made a post awhile back, but it has become quite clear that it’s an unmonitored box, and no one will ever reply to us. I would appreciate clear instructions for all serious designers to apply.
You need to send an email to: models@makerworld.com
It should include links to any other sites where you have listed models and then Bambu will asses whether you are worthy lol.
The point of it is to save confusion between platforms, so users know that it is the same person across them all with the same user name.
This is the only way of doing it, so if you aren’t active on other sites then there’s not much point trying.
They also take into account the quality of your models, so it isn’t even a guarantee that you’ll get verified, even if you are active on other platforms.
Good luck!
I did, hence why I say the box is unmonitored. They don’t respond. I do have accounts a across other platforms (minus Printables now, since they awful).
How long ago did you send the email? - It took a couple of weeks for me to get verified and then I received a notification directly on makerworld. I don’t think I ever got a reply from the email.
If it’s been a while then you may not have been successful as I’m not sure if they’d reply to let you know that is unsuccessful.
Once on Jan 19th and once on Feb 2nd.
Join the “unworthy” club, population 2 now … I’ve attempted it twice and gave up, meh as they say “I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members.”
Same here, even having a official website and LLC registered business license isn’t enough to say “Hello, check mark please?”
So I’ve given up as well, I’m 2 emails deep and nothing but crickets.
What is the official name for this club I am not apart of?
