I was about to claim my gift card but it seems to be sold out! Anyone know why this happens or when it will be fixed?
That is from 2024. I did Google first. Nothing about them being sold out as of now.
You replied to @xsynatic as if you were the OP, who is @thatrandomguy.
Do you control both accounts?
The 2024 link you mentioned is the first one Google listed, there are many more.
Let’s focus on that forum post it relates to. It started in 2024, but it continued through to two weeks ago, when a poorly dressed man added his comment.

That was me.
As you will have seen, someone posts they are out of stock as it confuses people why a non-physical thing can be out of stock, yet they can and for obvious reasons.
Gift Cards are just codes, those codes need to be allocated from somewhere. Bambu Lab use a third-party shop platform called Shopify; they obtain the codes from them. Chances are, this uses an API, and someone in management likely needs to sign off on the next batch.
As humans are in the mix, the need creeps up before anyone notices, and then things like weekends and holidays get in the way.
Staff get alerted, and the problem is rectified.
Of all the daft and annoying things Bambu Lab does, this is at the bottom of the pile. It is usually a day or so before it gets rectified.
As the gift cards have 10-year expiration dates these days in most countries, pre-planning can help avoid the issues. With the potential for a point-review 5-day hold before any cards are issued, this further increases the benefits of planning.
That said, I have been dumb enough to leave it to the last minute, and then I hit the Out of Stock message.
Give it a few days and they will be available again.
