Gloss sheen with lower temp and slower speed

Hey guys - after a number of trials and errors and even user error and plenty of assumptions - I am happy to say that I am having more success with the X1c

But was curious if Simply by adjusting the speed setting in the print panel to about 50% would that allow me to achieve the same exact gloss finish on my print as the prusa mK3 gives me?

Please see the attached picture of the same model - the top one is the Bambu where it prints more of a matte finish with the same PLA and the bottom is the model printed by the prusa mK3 where you have more of a gloss sheen - I’m using regular overture PLA at 215 not Matte PLA and I would like to achieve the same results with my Bambu. I am aware that higher temps and speed have a lot to do with the sheen from what I’ve seen (and also have been told) so my assumption is toreduce the prince speed and perhaps lower the temp a bit - but wanted to check with somebody else to see if they can verify thank you

Yes, but more worthwhile to just change the outer wall speed in your slicer.

Well unfortunately slowing the speed down and lowering the temperature on the print and the outer walls did not work

You want to increase the nozzle temp on black filaments also you might have to drop your fan speeds down on this black filament on the Bambu lab printer to reach the look you want, download orca slicer and do a temperature tower test as see what that shows you on your black pla filament settings.

Then just do a basic wall part design with no infill or top layers at the speed of your current part and see if you get the look you are shooting for and yes outer wall speed will affect it also.
