Not bambu’s but wasn’t sure where else to put this.
I got some glow in the dark PLA for Christmas and I’ve been meaning to use it for something, but the one time I did I was very dumb and used a 0.2 nozzle. Immediately clogged it. I later learned about how brittle it is, so what should I be aware of?
I use an A1 mini with AMS lite, should it only be used as an external spool due to the stressing that ams can cause? Or is it fine? Can it be mixed with regular PLA?
Can you use bambu labs own PLA Glow as a reference ?
Cautions for Use
- AMS Compatible, but can lead to faster wear on internal components
- AMS lite NOT Compatible
- 0.2 mm Nozzle Not Compatible

Unless you are using a hardened nozzle, I believe that it will cause much faster nozzle wear. I used some on a non-BL printer years ago with a brass nozzle and doubled the size of the opening fairly quickly.

I’ll keep that in mind and save it for a hardened steel 0.4, was thinking of getting a spare for it anyway
Yeah that seems pretty perfect, I’ll keep that in mind. I used it in my AMS lite with no problems but for sake of preventing extra wear I’ll just deal with the hassle of the external spool, thank you
