Glueing H2D Engineering Plate

I’m hoping that since the A2L uses the same size plates it will be more likely that Bambu releases more options for us.

BIQU CryoGrip is mildly textured.

Possibly because these plates are bit niche. Not everyone wants iridescent patterns transferred onto their prints.

I actually use my 3D effects plate on my P1S quite a bit. What brand do you use for H2D holographic plates? I noticed bambu doesn’t have them for H2 series.

I can’t explain it, I just had to have that plate. Period. :joy:
That I ended up using it on both sides was merely a consequence. @justyna there was no brand or rather, I couldn’t appreciate any because the wrapper was mummified in Scotch tape so I sliced it open and tossed the rest split second. I treated the Glacier the same way… I think it came with a leaflet. Straight into the trash bin along with its cellophane :joy:

I keep hearing about these Darkmoon plates. I have never seen or tried one, but I hear as many good reviews for the CFX plate as the Satin plate. What do you like about the Satin? I see that the have a limited edition combo (Satin/CFX) plate currently.

I like the texture it leaves - it’s not glass smooth like the engineering or smooth plate, and it’s not pebbled like the textured PEI plate, it’s somewhere in between but closer to smooth.

It generally works very well for repeat prints too - large runs of parts, for example.

The CFX plate is cool too, I really like the carbon fiber pattern it leaves on parts.
