Guaranteed clog with PA filament on X1

Hiya,

I have been knocking out PLA prints without issue for a while now but I have something I need to print in PA. I tried with my Ender 3 Pro and it just lost bed adhesion all the time. On the X1 I have tried twice now and both times the hot end clogged. The first time it happened I noticed the filament had wound round the spool holder and got tight so I assumed it was that. The second time it clogged again at a similar point. When I remove the hot end it’s plugged right up to the top and I end up having to cold pull it using the allen key.

I’m printing at 270 with 100 degree bed which is the settings the slicer chose for Generic PA. Anyone been printing with Nylon and managed it consistently?

Graham

What nozzle size are you using?

Hi Matt, sorry yes, it’s the stock 0.4mm nozzle.
