I was shocked to see it was available this evening as I had been trying to buy all day. Also surprised by the lower than expected price. Anyway, I got mine and it says that it will be here in 3 to 6 days. I already have an H2D and X1C - think I am going to let the X1C go. I am excited to see it in action.
I’ve been waiting for this for a long time and just ordered mine. I thought it was supposed to be delayed in the U.S. until December due to some FCC issue? or the tariff issues? What’s a bummer is there does not seem to be a way to order without the AMS, as I already have an AMS 2 Pro for my P1S. Can anyone here tell me what else I need to buy to be able to use both AMS’s with the H2C?
what add-ons are you guys getting with the H2C?
Edit: just purchased the printer, I added an AMS2 unit and I bought the combo, so I’ll have 2, AMS units with the printer. Once I get it I’ll see what else is involved and what other parts I might want.
Got the ultimate combo. I think there is neglible value without 2AMS and the HT for me. I am purchasing this specifically for 5-6 color prints.
I was surprised by the price being relatively in line with H2D
Indx upgrade for the orange and black machine just got officially announced. Worth a read before you pull the trigger on an h2c.

I was a bit confused at first, but after digging in, here’s what I’ve gathered about the H2C Standard package I purchased:
- It includes only one Vortek hotend. The system supports up to seven, so to fully utilize multi-material printing, you’ll need to buy six additional hotends (currently $70 each for the high-flow version).
- Vortek hotends are currently sold out, so for now, you’re limited to one nozzle on the left and one on the right—no full 7-nozzle setup at launch.
- As for build surfaces, only the Engineering Plate is available at the moment, alongside the textured PEI plate that ships with the printer.
So, being an early adopter means I won’t be doing 7-color, purge-free prints just yet—but hopefully that capability isn’t too far off. Do I have this correct?

The standard H2C comes with 8 nozzles. 6 induction for the right and 2 standard nozzles for the left. For induction, it includes 4 x 0.4mm, 1 x 0.2mm, and 1 x 0.6mm.
So technically you can do 5 color purge free printing out of the box. You’d need to buy 2 more 0.4mm induction nozzles to do 7.

If you don’t want to buy an extra 2 more 0.4mm induction, just get the Ultimate set combo. It ADDS an extra 3 0.4mm induction as well as some other sized ones with another AMS 2 and AMS HT. This should make multi-material much more accessible.

4 .4mm induction hotends. Probably the $40 non-high flow versions, but still, able to do more out of the box than I thought.

I am going to wait and get the two Vortek 0.4HF nozzles when they are available. You can mix regular and HF together in a print, “Hybrid” slicing mode.

That literally just sounds like the coolest thing ever, and they’d be the first (after BIQU) to modify the non-modifiable, closed-software, apple of a printer.

Back on a serious note, they are actually making a separate INDX model for the Vorons due to incapability. Now, I don’t know what the incapability is, but they sure do seem like they are trying to make every single thing compatible with the INDX system, even if they have to make a separate model. Now, just think about that for a second, and re-read what I just said earlier. (still crazy right? but just not AS crazy…)
