Ok, hands up I will admit I am confused. I am considering to get a H2C combo unit. I would also like the HT AMS. What exactly do I need to buy in the way of accessories to utilise this printer properly?
I am not new to Bambu and have 2 X1Cs and 1 H2S but they don’t have the complexity of the H2C accessories. I may be retiring one of my X1Cs so could have an AMS (not pro v2) to utilise as well.

I’d take a look at the included hotends and upgrade them as needed to suit your requirements.
A less textured build plate, such as the Glacier plates. I only use the Engineering plate for PC, since the Glacier is only rated up to 100 degrees Celsius.
Well, I’m already not very satisfied with the drying performance and sealing of the AMS 2. I’m not familiar with the HT, but from what I’ve read about it, it doesn’t really convince me. I have the Sunlu E2. It takes only a quarter of the time to dry, is sealed, and therefore stays airtight for a very long time; you can do quite a bit more with it (annealing). It is relatively expensive, though.
I’ve also fitted my H2C with star-shaped PTFE tubing, since it noticeably reduces friction.

If you want to get all 6 of the nozzles, you’ll need to buy 2 more .4 since there are only 4 .4 nozzles you get. You also get 1 .2 and .6 so you’ll have to get 5 of each if you want to go full .2 or .6 as well.

You already get a 4-1 PTFE adapter so you won’t need to buy one separately for the machine if you want to combine multiple AMS. You will however need a separate power cable for your extra AMS 2 or AMS HT if you want to dry with a 2/HT and print with the other or dry both an HT and 2 at the same time, however, this is optional, and you will be able to print with all your AMS without it.

If you only get the H2C with ONE AMS, you will be able to load 5 filaments since you get a spool holder, and you can attach 2 spool holders to the H2 machines so just buy another spool holder if you’re saving on money.
Setup will probably look something like this:
Separate power cable - AMS2 \
AMS1 - PTFE adapter - H2C
Separate power cable - AMS HT /
Depending on your needs, (which I’m guessing is engineering-grade) AMS 2 will definitely not be good at drying, it only dries PLA and PETG. HT is much better but you only can dry one at a time, so I’d recommend getting a separate power cable so you can print with your other two AMS whilst drying the HT at the same time, since that’s going to be quite slow. like @Bruegge said, the Sunlu E2 is the best drier as of now since it reaches 110C and can dry 2 filaments at a time opposed to the HT which can only reach 85C with 1 filament slot. There’s also the AMS heater that can reach 80C (if overclocked) for your AMS 1 but idk if that might mess with the machinery.

An H2C combo with AMS HT and some filament is all you have to have, every thing else is a personal want type thing, with only a AMS2 on the left you only really need 4 .4 nozzles unless you want to run some TPU and dont want to use the same nozzle. The catch is what do you mean by “utilise this printer properly?“, that might mean different things to different peoples.
I love my H2C combo. I put the AMS on the right nozzles which comes with four 0.4 nozzles, one 0.2 nozzle and 1 0.6 nozzle, so you should be good to go with 1 AMS. Check MakerWorld and search H2C there are plenty of add ons you might want, the only thing you really need to start is a poop Shute and poop bucket, I picked the one that’s narrow and straight down and doesn’t interfere with the vents and a big poop bucket directly underneath, but I have a lot of room behind my printer. I subsequently added a 2nd AMS and hooked it to the left nozzle, so I printed a shelf that sits on top of the printer and holds both the AMS units. I don’t have any experience with the HT so can’t comment on that. I recently upgraded the firmware to 01.02.00.00, check the release notes for what’s new. But this allows me to print TPU on the left nozzle. I put TPU on the left external spool holder and run a short PTFE tube from the spool holder to the standard left nozzle port on the back of the printer, no need to remove the top and run the TPU directly into the extruder. I’ve only tried SUNLU TPU95A so I haven’t tried the softer ones. Good luck with your purchase.
