After waiting so long for the update to be released, it’s really frustrating to now have to wait for it to arrive gradually.

It is, and i got in the queue 2 hours ago and restarted my printer and the update became avaiable
Same, i cant wait to get home from work to install my BE camera finally.

Found something strange about the nozzle selection.
A two colour print somehow used 3 nozzles.
When printing a model like this, instead of keeping the black filament consistently in the nozzle it was initially assigned to, somehow it got retracted, switched to left nozzle, then white got fed into another vortek nozzle.
After the dual colour part was done, it switches the black filament back to the vortek nozzle again.
Happy to report that the new H2C firmware (in beta for now) resolves the fail to pre-heat left nozzle issue

Seems that I don’t access the beta firmware despite signing up for beta firmware program, I can’t send message to SupportAssistant due to being new user in the forum, the only think that I could do is to open a service ticket. Other users also have the same struggle as me as I see in the facebook groups
I have today already installed the filament track switch on my h2c, and have been on beta program since owning the printer. Unfortunately it has not automatically grabbed the latest beta firmware meaning I cannot use both of my AMS units as the track switch doesn’t work.
I have sent a private message but no reply yet. My advice to others is if you have the track switch already then do not install it before having the firmware!

Have you tried it? Before I receive the new beta, I had tried to simply use it from input A to output A and B to B just to check if filament was not too obstructed by the filament switch and end up with almost the same location as the now official bracket.
The path really needs large curves, the filament switch being really restrictive and I don’t think anything that put it close to the printer entries can work.
Granted, it was without control from firmware so may be the magnets are not forced pushed and it may be less restrictive with electrical command rather than just resting by their own strength but I doubt it. I will use it now with bambu location and bambu firmware and report back.
Trying the beta firmware for the Filament Track Switch on my H2C. Seems that the printer doesn’t initiate filament retraction from the Left Nozzle into AMS B before trying to load filament from AMS A into the Right Nozzle. It is pushing filament from AMS A into the FTS while filament from AMS B is still loaded.

I am able to print ‘through it’ yes - doesn’t seem to be causing me a problem. But I do have gentle sweeping curves to my PTFE tubes. I’m a firm believer that I’d rather a longer path (and associated friction) vs a tight radius (and the much tighter friction!). I have printed/mounted the official bracket. No problems yet but of course, I cannot use it until my machine gets the firmware…

I was hoping it would be smart enough to retract only as far as the FTS which it switches between AMS units (so you didn’t need to retract all the way back to the actual AMS thereby saving time).
It may well work as you’re expecting. I have still to test it (I have the beta FW and the switch :)) as bambu studio v2.6.0.51 release notes says:
Optimized Filament Track Switcher Retraction Logic for H2C
To improve printing efficiency, the retraction target for printers equipped with a Filament Track Switcher has been changed from the AMS to the Filament Track Switcher itself, reducing the retraction distance and saving time during filament loading and unloading.

On the left side of the page under Topics and My Posts, you will see My messages. Click that and then you will see the New Message button in Blue. Click that an you will be able to send a direct message to support. Just start typing Support and the name will pop up.
On the X2D if your curves are too tight, it will cause that high resistance message to appear. I played with the the ptfe tubes until I got it just right and haven’t had any issues as long as the ptfe tube comes into the FTS straight and leaves the FTS straight. Happy Printing. I’m waiting for the H2C beta to arrive as well.
There’s a lesson here for me about actually reading the release notes for the software, not just the firmware lol.

Ok. So now that you posted, I think you will get some sort of badge upgrading your level. Something of the sorts happened to me when I started responding to posts about a month ago when I joined. The good part is that I believe the Support team is monitoring this thread. If you don’t receive the ability to send a message by tomorrow morning, I will just @ them in a message within this thread. I think they will need your account name to process your request for the beta. I’m waiting as well for the firmware update. I already installed the switch but will not make the connections until I get the firmware.
