I have been printing ASA and TPU at the same time for a while now, and I have never had any issues until I installed the latest firmware. I get the usual temperature warnings during slicing and printing and the prints have always been a success.
Yesterday, I installed the new firmware and now I keep getting a looping error that pauses the print. The error says !Warning the right hotend heatbreak temperature is relatively high which may cause nozzle clogging. The error comes up after printing ASA and then it goes to switch to TPU. The TPU will start purging and then the error will pop up. My only options are to hit the button that says resume problem solved or to hit the x and close the warning. When I hit the resume it will start purging the filament again and the error will come back up again, and it will keep doing this and will not allow me to finish the print. I ultimately have to stop the print to continue.
I completely understand why it gives the warning, but I have never had a single issue printing these two materials together. Is there a setting to turn off this warning and if so where would I find it? Is there a different nozzle that I can use to increase the heatbrake temperature when using TPU?
I have rolled back the firmware and it is working like it always has. I like the new features of the new firmware, but I can not complete my prints. These prints are what makes me a little money to support my 3d printing habit. Any ideas are much appreciated!!!
