Hi,
yesterday I swapped a left nozzle on my H2C (0.4 HF → 0.6) and left to send a printjob remotely later that day. After changing the nozzle I forgot to prompt the printer to read nozzle info to update it. Later I realized this when I prepared the printjob in Bambu Studio and went to send it. Of course it would not let me, because the printer still thought it had the 0.4 HF installed. I looked everywhere in Studio and Handy and wasn’t able to find a way to tell the printer to check what nozzle it has installed (Printer Parts menu does not allow it since it has to be changed on the printer).
Luckily I was able to start a history printjob with 0.4 HF nozzle set to let the printer realize what nozzle it actually had.
My request is - please allow us to tell the printer to check the nozzle installed via Studio or Handy. I understand that on P1S etc. it has to be set manually, since there is no way to check installed nozzle type remotely. But since detection on H2C (H2 in general) is automated, why not let the user prompt the printer to do so without having to find alternative ways to do so.
Thank you.
