I did the H2S to H2C vortech upgrade on my printer and now its not cutting filament correctly. I discovered the x-axis is off on the left side. I re-loosened all 8 of the X-access gantry screws, held the gantry against the front panel and tightened all 8 screws down again. Again , left side still back 1cm vs the right side. I removed the belt screws from the left side toolhead and it seems like the belt is pulling on the left side?
I haven’t done retrofit, but are you supposed to set up and align the gantry before putting on the belt?
I actually tried it both ways.. after it was lopsided the first time. I redid it with the belts attached. Same issue.
