Just checked, XDP is UK. UK has no law about maximum weight a person is allowed to lift while working, but the government recommended guideline is 25 kg. Couriers that want jheavy packages to arrive undropped, and not get lawsuits, will use 2 people for a 35 kg piece of machinery. For soft goods you could probably get away with 1 strong person
edit As I said in another post, i learned this when i tried to ship a creality k2 max in continential Europe. it was more expensive to ship ONE k2 max than it would be to ship two K1 each separately.
Thanks for the info, mate…
My AMS 2 has been delivered, and my ABS filament and spare nozzles, some others by DPD, just got here. Now I just have to wait for the printer…
@kropexx I guess it will be GEL too because I am living in Germany near the Austrian border. Don’t worry I heard the first time of them too with my ordering of the H2D
when my 2 H2Ds and other 3d printers arrived on April 20th I moved to Canada like at the beginning of 2025 so it was delivered by Canada Post and 1 man came and he asked if I could I help with the packages and yes I did and it was pretty easy none of the packages where damaged and that was a relief
