I Just received my H2D and AMS 2 Pro combo. I removed all the packaging and did all the self checks.
I was ready for the first print and the AMS 2 would load the filament to the Right extruder. It reaches the extruder and after like 5 seconds it pulls back again, the AMS will try a few times and then an error appears, that the extruder might be blocked.
Switching to my original AMS worked first try with no problems.
Switching back to the AMS 2 and the exact same problems arrive. The PTFE tubes are pushed in all the way, the AMS is on the corresponding nozzle. Firmware is up to date xx.xx.19.47.
Using either nozzle with an external spool works perfect.
It’s the combo of the AMS 2 pro and H2D that doesn’t work. First I thought It might be the buffer but since the original AMS works fine I dont know anymore.
If it runs the filament for that long, its getting close to the toolhead if not all the way there, so I’m assuming there is a problem in the buffer. However, because the original AMS works it kinda pours water on that guess. A second way to test the buffer is to simply use the second entry port. Ultimately, it leads me to believe there may be an issue in the AMS 2 Pro’s sensors. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about them to guide you. I’d say reach out to Bambu.
I had an issue with the filament which was making it to the extruder from teh AMS’s but only printing on one hotend. I was getting extruder errors and AMS errors. Support wanted me to take off the hub in the H2D. I already was suspecting as the hub as the sliders as different tension and were ending up at rest at different positions. After I took everything off, I noticed the sliders were in the same position. Turns out the tube going from the buffer to the toolhead was the culprit. I had messed a bunch with the tube going into the H2D but not the one coming out of the buffer. All is well now.
This happened to me too! Cannot get it to load filament from AMS Pro. Get error messages check spool and ptfe tubes. I’ve changed them all. Still the same problem.
Where the desiccant goes, there is a black and white connector, I used a screw driver and pushed on the white connector and I had a feeling in went in further, let me know if this solves the issue
