I put mine closer to the hot end but there is no reason it would not work placed further back. I did have to rough up the TPU bypass tube with some sandpaper and add a drop of CA glue as it kept slipping out of that 3rd hole that did not have a PTFE coupler on it, has not slipped out since.
Can you always run the AMS 2 pro on the left nozzle so the right is then free for TPU, as you can only print TPU on right nozzle. That way you always run TPU and second color prints from right nozzle from external spool and don’t have to swap the ptfe tubes when printing TPU. AMS stays connected on left, if you do this can you run a print with PETG and and TPU in one print without stopping to swap filaments? Sorry total noob for TPU, haven’t tried printing TPU yet on my A1 or H2D so not sure if this is a valid question
You can run the AMS and the HT from either side. You just have to be sure to configure it in settings on the H2D itself so it knows what side you have it on.
Is the automatic flow dynamic calibration working for TPU with a hardness of 95A and higher? I tried it today on my A1 and my H2D. The A1 did it without a problem and the H2D always fails.
