Many wrote about bad experience and/or damage during the delivery of their Bambulab H2D. But in my case i had a completely different experience.
First i must say that bambulab listen to customer complaints and has taken action here in germany, because first they changed the carrier from GEL to DB Schenker, and second the H2D is now shipped on a wooden pallet.
I was contacted by the carrier one day before delivery. On the day of delivery the driver came with an electric forklift to transport the pallet to my door. He kindly asked me helping to bring the box up to the first floor and he even took the empty pallet back with him. A good tip was his reward.
The box and the printer were unharmed, calibration was finished without any problems and the first 40 hour print is on its way already.
I am happy camper now. All my fears with this investment were unnecessary.
I had a similar experience with the delivery. The package arrived on time and the 3D printer was very well packed! Setting up the printer was easy and I’ve completed the first week of printing. Absolutely nothing to complain about at this point.
Mine came with DHL freight in Germany. The shipping took longer than advertised as they had some problems with getting the printer from the distribution center but the printer itself was perfectly fine. it also came on a wooden pallet and the box has not a single dent in it.
I got notification mine is being delivered in the UK coming Sunday … fingers crossed … I got bad experience with XDP so hopefully they putll themselves together for this one.
Similar situation. Received mine yesterday from FedEx (DropEx?), looks like it was dropped hard on the front left corner. Left side panel isn’t fully flush on the bottom, rear z-axis rods (both) out of their slots and failing initial calibration, and the front door isn’t aligned to the opening making it hard to keep closed.
No pallet, FedEx driver walked it up the steps and put it down gently, but who knows what happened from Cali to Michigan.
Ticket opened, hope to get some guidance from support soon.
I only removed mine from the box and took pictures ( havent even opened the door ). I just want to return this one and get an undamaged one . I got the 40 watt laser one so i figure i definately spent enough to deserve an undamaged machine . I still havent gotten a response from support yet and its been 24 hrs . I hope this doesn’t take forever .
