i just received my H2D combo, connected AMS to right (the one that move) because i am going to use left for TPU (the one that stay in fix position).
but when i tried to print the benchy, the H2D don’t want to use the AMS, it only show left, how come ?
the AMS is connected and detected, it just doesn’t allow me to print with it.
same thing with multi color printing, it ask me to load filament in left, i know its usefull because its less waist to print with 2 nozzle, but why don’t i have the choice ?
If you are standing in front of printer by the door the right is the fixed nozzle and the left is the lifting nozzle.
Maybe the factory has your filament extruder feeder tubes backwards ?
I will check but mainly i want to know why i can’t print only using one color from the ams.
And when i do multicolor print, why does it still ask me to have fillament in the other nozzle, what is the point to have an ams if i can’t pri t o ly using it ?
If you want to choose nozzles you will have to slice the model yourself, you cannot choose nozzles on pre-sliced models like the ones that come on the printer. They hope to change this one day but until then that’s all you can do
Make sure you do Overwriting sync and not just mapping before you slice the file. Or you can use custom when slicing

That answer may be the most frustrating I have ever gotten. You buy a printer that costs an arm and a leg with a system for multiple colors, yet the people who made it give you a print model that can’t use it?
Also, what I don’t get is that I can choose the filament from the AMS when I do a Panda and any dual-material print. So why can’t I choose the AMS when I do the boat or any single-color print, or when I just want to use the AMS?
Who coded this? Seriously, it’s like a half-done job since it has the function. I would accept the answer if I couldn’t select any of the filaments in the AMS, but since I can…what gives with this limitation?

Mate, if your only problem with this machine is the pre-installed prints and how they function, you really don’t have any problems at all, so get over it and move on. Not trying to be harsh, just blunt.

You can probably download the Panda file and customize the design yourself. If you’re new to Bambu Studio, it’s a good idea to watch some YouTube tutorials to get familiar with how it works.
Also, check out videos on H2D, AMS 2, and syncing or customizing filament selection. If you want to use just one nozzle but still switch between four AMS colors, that’s possible. You can also use up to five different filament colors in total with your setup.
The pre-sliced files are just Gcode. They don’t include the models and any nozzle swaps have already been coded in, that isn’t easy to change on the fly, but again they’re working on it.
However, you seem to be getting unreasonably upset over DEMO files. These aren’t going to be your primary prints, the included files are there to give you tools (e.g. weeding tool) or to demonstrate the printer’s features (Panda for dual nozzle for example), nothing more. I understand when you have an expectation and it doesn’t work that can be frustrating, but again, they’re demo Gcode files, nothing more. If you want to customize your printing, you will have to use the slicer like everyone else

what i meant to say is that demo file are suppose to be able to demo the performance of a product, so having demo file that use the AMS is something i would think is normal
