@NUsul Nice Dune metaphor, even more so as that desiccant does look a bit like Melange. 
I didn’t quite follow the full dryer comparison though. Your homemade box performed very well, getting the dried filament in the ams 2 chamber to either 3% or 0% (or both?). But what was the result of your attempt to dry it in the ams 2? Or was that just to dry the desiccant, which you subsequently used in your homemade dryer? Yours is an important post. I just want to make sure I understand what you’re reporting. Sorry if I’m being a bonehead or misreading it or something like that. But if I’m unclear, I imagine at least some others might be also.
