H2D Firmware V01.01.03.00 Now in Public Beta!

Right. A public beta is available to the public. It’s not limited in the way Bambu Limits the numbers. I’ve had beta ticked on for days and there is no way to download it.

This is the issue I have is calling it a “Public” beta while not allowing everyone in or even giving a reason other than a slow roll out. I understand on server side limiting download but myself like many others have been waiting over a month and have never gotten a single Beta download. At this point beta download should be available for download via the website and require a USB at all times. I mean this is no different than what BIOS and drivers do for the PC world. This is a private beta or even calling it an Alpha testing group would be better.

The Public Beta testing pool has been increased, so more users can install it.

I have printed like 30+ hours so far on 1.01.03.00 and haven’t seen anything odd except the it’s still purging too much on 0.2 nozzles causing blobs to build up and throwing the purged filament onto the build plate.

I will say, quality on the 0.2 is way up though, It’s night and day compared to the original shipping firmware.

Would it be possible to please share more information?
Do you have any pictures or a video showing the problem?
Is the .3mf file available?

Thanks

I do not have any videos unfortunately. I really need to turn on video recording.

It is a lot better than previous firmwares in that regard. Before I had to babysit during purge to ensure it didn’t blob the nozzle and cause other issues.

I’ll see if I can recreate the issue today when I get home from work and post a video. I assume I should just open a support ticket?

Read this thread. You may have videos you are unaware of.

I also had that problem just now. Maybe it didn’t purge too much (see below), but it definitely shook it off too infrequently. There were blobs that made me worried about the nozzle, and they ended up on the plate and under the heatbed.

OTOH when I tried dynamic flow calibration with first white, then green (from same AMS), it made the white line after ages of purging, then loaded green and again purged for quite some time - but when it made the supposedly green line, it was still purely white. So in that case it clearly purged too little. I just aborted the calibration as it would have been useless.

Just wanted to say thank you @SupportAssistant right after you said they expanded for more users I got the notice for the beta. Downloading it now.

I grabbed a pic today. This doesn’t happen with 0.4 or 0.6 nozzles.

I got lucky it didn’t fling it onto the build plate like it normally does, but these globs sometimes trip the spaghetti detection.

I don’t have the beta firmware but I certainly get poops outside of the poop bin with my 0.4mm nozzle as well.

I have same poops on all nozzles and BEFORE beta for sure, so its not an beta issue

New severe bug found @SupportAssistant
In machine calibration, Auto Bed Levelling calibration now forgets to probe with left nozzle.

The entire process is only done with the right nozzle, resulting in extremely poor left nozzle first layer performance. Please fix before pushing to public.

White with left nozzle, black with right nozzle.
It was both printing flawlessly with previous firmware, but now the left nozzle is a total failure.

I monitored the calibration process myself and I found that it never switched to left nozzle to do probing. It only measures the offset, but the measurement is completely not reliable for bed mesh.

Please fix.

ew you unironically use the ai overview? lmao.
