Same for me when using production firmware, it’s great. But when using the beta firmware whatever I do it fails. And the customer support says that they could not replicate my issues… I highly doubt that.
So I rolled back to the latest public release and re-ran all the calibrations. The left nozzle layed down a clean first layer but now the right nozzle is having issues with symptoms of over extrusion (rippling). I just can’t catch a break . I’m going to run a high precision nozzle offset calibration tomorrow, and then try printing with the nozzles seperately and then in the same print to see what happens.
Tl;dr the primary issue was that the nozzle offset calibration wasn’t working at all and would error out if I tried to run a nozzle offset calibration. This issue was happening on both public and beta releases. Replacing the nozzle offset calibration sensor with a new one fixed that issue. Now the first layer is wavy on my right nozzle when I never had this issue previously, but my left nozzle layed down the best first layer I’ve ever seen from it.
