Has anyone else here had this PTFE connector issue?
I guess simply putting it back won’t really fix the problem!?
Luckily, it happened at the beginning of a long print.
Now I need to figure out which part(s) I need to order.
Unfortunately per the wiki, you cannot replace it as most probably the connector plastic support will break.
The easiest way is to purchase a new dual extruder idler
The dual extruder idler will come as a new design
Where, the connector can be removed and replaced
BUT!… the connectors are not available in the store and the wiki states that you need to open a ticket to get them! If I were you, I would start with a ticket stating that you have the new idler but one connector is damaged and when you receive it try to insert it in your current idler although I doubt it will work without damage, your best bet is then simply to purchage the complete assembly from the store especially if you cannot wait.

I just acquired a H2S and the PTFE tube won’t go all the way to the buffer. TOTALLY STUCK
The tube goes up to about 8.9cm into the port but stops there
My H2D did the exact same thing on 6/24. I opened a ticket and they sent a set of replacement connectors (not the whole assembly that you can purchase). It’s part # FAC199, but I don’t see it on the store for purchase.
Just adding my 2 cents. I had this same failure and was able to reassemble the ptfe connector and NOT replace the entire idler. It took a couple hours since this was my first bit of H2D maintenance. I removed the front cover, removed all screws on the idlers cover, removed filament cutter arms and the little spring loaded piece that retains the filament cutter arms (it has a tiny screw that you have to push up to disengage the part and allow it to be removed. After that the idler was accessible. There is a small plastic voer over the ptfe connector. Despite the Bambu wiki there is a retaining clip on the front AND BACK. Removing the idlers assembly would be the best bet but I lucked out and got it off after an hour without breaking it. You can them remove the pft connect (apparently only if it is on the left side). I then carefully reinserted the lock washer (thing with the teeth) into the top of the connector and snapped the plastic nozzle piece back into the connector. It does not have as much range of motion as it originally did, but it retains the ptfe and i can push the connector down and remove the ptfe tube.
Note: Getting the right side filament cutter and arm back in took me forever. It was constricted and a very tight fit. Everything else went back together relatively smoothly.
This whole thing was a huge pain in the ■■■. I ordered an idler assembly seeing as this appears to be a highly likely future failure point. I also opened a ticket so perhaps Bambu will send me another idler…or just the connector. Either way they are gonna send me something bc I am persistent and have worn them down several time before lol.
Tl;dr The H2D toolhead idler left side ptfe connector is repairable (so long as you have the same issue pictured by OP) but it is a pain in the butt and requires a fair amount of disassembly.
I have had my printer a total of 24 hours and just had this happen. I’m not impressed with this and now I have a non usable machine that broke during its own calibration.
It’s because you have the latest version that can be separated to replace the connector. On older version it is one piece and removing the connector will surely break the top of the idler
